Oprah’s bestie Gayle King has confirmed that the TV mogul is not the godmother of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s child, Blue Ivy Carter. Gayle confirmed the news to her morning talk show CBS This Morning. She said:

“It’s absolutely not true that she’s the godmother. She’s friends with them, of course, and likes them both very much. She’s working on sending them a baby gift. She hasn’t even had time to send a baby gift because she’s been away.”

She added:

“Let me just say, if (that report is) true, it is news to her. It is news to her. You know, she was heading to South Africa when the baby was born.”

Just blogging to say 17 days left til the Oprah afternoon era is over. I’m quite sad. However, I’ll be honest. I haven’t PVR’d the Big O…are you upset that she will be off the air. Or did you subscribe to OWN  and you’ll see her enough?

The rumors are true. Oprah Winfrey has a half-sister she never knew about. The Big O made the announcement on this morning’s episode of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’. She said she recently learned of her secret sister, Patricia, who lives in Milwaukee.  Wow Wow Wow…it’s wasn’t a lame family recipe…although the 2 sisters may be exchanging recipes soon.

So Oprah has been promoting that today she’s going to reveal a “BIG FAMILY SECRET”. Well it better be big! 

AND whydid she wait this long to reveal it. What will her secret be? Her real name is not Oprah? She’s from another planet? If it’s some lame family recipe she’s been sitting on for 20 years…that will be very disappointing.

Turns out The Big O has a half-sister named Patricia — who was put up for adoption at a young age and bounced around foster homes until she was finally adopted at the age of 7. Oprah said her mother never told her about Patricia.

Oprah, Patricia and her mother will all reunite on todays the show.

Hugh Jackman injured himself during a taping of Oprah LIVE in Sydney on Tuesday. He was making a special entrance to the Sydney Opera House. Jackman was rigged to a zip-line and apparently forgot to slow down. Video after the jump. 

“I came down waving to everyone, looking over Sydney Harbour, saw my dad, the kids and you (Winfrey), went to pull the brake and then boing,” he said.

Entertainment reporters at the scene said Jackman was hit in the eye. Television showed Jackman holding some ice on his face and taking a swig of red wine. It was reported that Jackman suffered a black eye.
