It was devastation for the people of Haiti. January 12th an earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter scale unleashed catastrophe for the Haitian capital of Port-Au-Prince.

It was instant destruction. 230,000 dead, 300,000 wounded, 1,000,000 left homeless and months of chaos.

The world responded with humanitarian aid, charity recordings from Artists For Haiti

and Young Artists For Haiti

and fundraising efforts not seen since Hurricane Katrina. But the destruction is still evident. There are over a million displaced resident still living in a tent city and it looks as though it’ll take years to rebuild.
