The female voice on the other end of Drizzy’s drunk dial in the single ‘Marvin’s Room’, is suing him & claiming he threatened her…well he has fired back-claiming there is ‘no merit’ to the claims.

Ericka Lee, who claims she had a romantic and business relationship with Drake, filed a lawsuit in California’s federal court on Thursday alleging she was the voice on the phone that was used for the track.

Lee is suing Drizzy for excluding her from sharing any co-writer royalties on the single. She claims their partnership (both business and pleasure) lasted from early 2010 to mid-2011, during which they supposedly traded poems, song lyrics and discussed creative projects.

Drizzy’s version of how the song came to be is VERY different, “’40′ started making this beat, and I started singing these melodies, and I got a phone call from this girl,” he recalled. “I was in the booth singing. I remember that was the first part I had. Middle of recording I got a call from this girl, and she had been drinking,” he continued. “Because I was recording, I just put the phone on the speaker and sat it on the music stand. ‘40’ thought so quick to record it. I went back to recording more melodies. As I was recording, he was taking pieces of the conversation out-You know where the story is going. At the end of the night we had a song called ‘Marvin’s Room.’”

According to the complaint filed by Lee, Drake first offered her 2% of “publishing royalties,” which she declined. Things apparently then got messy with Lee getting a lawyer and Drake trying to get her to go away with an offer of 4% to 5% of publishing and a $50,000 settlement.

Lee is seeking damages and to be declared a co-writer for the song, while Drake plans on fighting the allegation.

A statement from Drizzy’s reps: “This claim is entirely without merit and our client has not engaged in any wrongful conduct. Ericka Lee consented to the use of her voice in the song “Marvin’s Room” prior to its release. Lee asked only for the credit she received as “Syren Lyric Muse,” and she did not ask for any compensation. It was only after she retained a lawyer that there was a demand for payment. Drake tried for months to resolve the matter amicably, and he now looks forward to being vindicated in court.”

Just a few weeks ago, Budweiser made the dreams of two unsuspecting beer league hockey teams come true by giving them the thrill of playing just like professionals. The rest of the story and the video is after the jump.

On December 21st 2011, Les Amigos and The Toronto Generals were ready to play their weekly hockey game when Budweiser transformed a regularly scheduled match into an epic high-energy spectacle complete with screaming fans, play-by-play announcers, and even a Budweiser-branded Zamboni! The catch? This epic moment was captured on film and will be featured as Budweiser’s Canadian Super Bowl XLVI commercial .

According to an interview with British celebrity news magazine Heat, Daniel Radcliffe was drunk at times on the set of Harry Potter.  Find out what he told the magazine after the jump. Radcliffe said:

“I have a very addictive personality. It was a problem. People with problems like that are very adept at hiding it. It was bad. I don’t want to go into details, but I drank a lot and it was daily – I mean nightly. I can honestly say I never drank at work on ’Harry Potter.’ I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work. I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone. Dead behind the eyes,”

Katy Perry is seeking professional help for her divorce from Russell Brand. According to HollywoodLife.com, Katy has always gone to a therapist and now more than ever the singer is using professional help.

A source said:

“Katy has always believed in therapy. She has always been pretty good about going to a therapist and she’s still going now. When she’s on tour she does phone sessions and is also leaning on her friends, like Rihanna.”

Katy and Russell filed for divorce on December 30.

Katy is expected to perform at the Grammys on February 12.

Bob Costas will open six hours of Super Bowl XLVI pre-game coverage with a live report from Georgia Street in downtown Indianapolis at Noon. 

Matt Lauer will interview President Barack Obama during a special pre-game edition of “Today” airing late Sunday afternoon.

Former Toronto Argonaut Doug Flutie will appear in pre-game segments. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward, two Super Bowl MVPs who each played in last year’s game, will join NBC Sports’ coverage as guest analysts. 

ENTERTAINMENT

Madonna: Bob Costas will interview Madonna during the pre-game before she takes the stage for the Halftime Show.

Red Carpet: Nick Cannon will hosts the pre-game red-carpet coverage. Celebrities expected to attend include: Adam Sandler; Danny Devito, Chris Evans from The Avengers; and random stars of NBC’s new primetime shows. Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Carson Daly of The Voice will also walk the carpet. Katharine McPhee of Smash, (which debuts Monday night); and Jessica Simpson of Fashion Star are also on the list of stars expected.

 Live Performances: Lenny Kravitz and The Fray will perform live from the NFL’s Super Bowl XLVI Tailgate Party.
