The Drake train has no signs of slowing down as just a few weeks after dropping his highly anticipated Scorpion album, Drizzy stepped into the BBC Radio 1 show of popular host Charlie Sloth and his famous “Fire in the Booth” segment.

To give you some context, Sloth’s “Fire in the Booth” segment gives time to both up-and-coming, as well as big name rappers the chance to step up and drop a freestyle.

Rap group and current tour mates, Migos stepped into the booth a few years ago…

Well, Drake took a turn and he didn’t hold anything back (see the full video above).

Drizzy appears to address his issues with Kanye West and Pusha T when he dropped these bars,

The only skeletons here are the ones from the nights that I raised hell
Make sure the staff are paid well
Make them think twice about the stories that they tell
No one knows when the plan is hatchin’
I’ma make them walk on eggshells
Tiptoe, ni**as better know

Drake also appears to show an awareness that he’s the guy on top that people are coming for, and needless to say, he’s ready,

Y’all keepin’ the score while watchin’ me score
Y’all keep the awards, I’ll take the rewards
If y’all goin’ for fun, I’ll stay and record
But if y’all goin’ to war I’m there for sure
Wouldn’t miss it

Not surprisingly, the freestyle received mixed reviews with some saying the 6 God absolutely killed it, while others were left underwhelmed…

To be fair, this is the best “Fire in the Booth” segment that I’ve seen and then my subsequent take on it…

Regardless of what you think of this freestyle, it’s hard to not admit that Drake is on top of the rap game right now.

His Scorpion album has broken numerous streaming records,

New era. New platinum. Thank you a billion times over (a billion plus).

7, that’s right SEVEN songs from Scorpion are in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart,

All 7’s…

No real slowing down for Drake right now.

There’s also a rumour that he will be dropping a new project as soon as he signs with a new record deal (he’s rumoured to be leaving Birdman’s Cash Money records).

Oh, and how could we forget the #InMyFeelingsChallenge that was inspired by Drake’s song, “In My Feelings”.

Here’s the original video done by Instagram and YouTube star, Shiggy.
