According to The Verge, More Life, which is Drake’s last album had 89.9 million streams in its first day.  Variety explains, “Apple says Scorpion now holds both the US and global streaming records for the service, and the debut is the largest single-day streaming total for any album on any streaming service to date.”

Now THIS is amazing – Drake’s Scorpion was streamed well over 132 million times within the first 24 hours, which broke ‘the single-day streaming record’ on Spotify and get this, Spotify says that number may end up being a lot higher.

Billboard explains, “The streaming platform says the album has logged more than 170 million streams worldwide since its release Friday (June 29), more than doubling Drake’s prior one-day record on Apple Music with last year’s More Life.”

Good news for Drake, Billboard says that the album can expect to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart.  Scorpion also became eligible for PLATINUM STATUS!! The albums lead singles, ‘God’s Plan’ went 8x platinum and ‘Nice For What’ is 3x platinum which is pretty sweet!

If that wasn’t enough, within the first 24 hours of Scorpion dropping, it received a total of 3 million TWEETS!!!
