Walmart Apologizes For Back To School Gun Display

It looks like some PR reps are doing some damage control this morning after a photo of a Walmart display has gone viral.

The photo was taken in the US, and shows guns for sale with back to school signage directly above it….

Walmart has been very active on Twitter since the photo was uploaded, and has pretty much been apologizing left and right.

This signage placement would never be acceptable in any of our stores. We’re looking into how this regrettable situation happened. -Danny

The words “regrettable” “terrible” and “not acceptable” are pretty the entirety of Walmart’s feed right now,

The store’s exact location hasn’t been identified yet, but Walmart has said the sign has been taken down and they are working diligently on making sure it does not happen again.
