Residences of Presidio Terrace in San Francisco are very upset. A very rich and savvy couple have purchased THEIR ENTIRE STREET.

Mashable explains that, “Presidio Terrace is a privately owned oval street nestled against the Presidio golf course with a large gate blocking its entrance. The more than 30 mansions behind the gate are part of a home owners association,” and Tina Lam and Michael Cheng (pictured below) are the proud new owners of this very posh street in San Francisco.

They bought it for $90,000 in tax court; meaning that whoever owned the street before was not paying the $14/year in taxes that came along with owning this street.

The new owners are planning on allowing people to park and walk on their private street for a price, which has residences up in arms. The residences of this gated community are begging the city to get involved and have recently filed a lawsuit against the city and the couple; claiming that they didn’t know their street went up for auction nor did they know that the taxes weren’t being paid.

Maybe next time you should pay your taxes.
