TORONTO FESTIVAL OF BEER 2017

Beerfest
This staple Toronto summer event is back at Bandshell Park at Exhibition Place once again this year and looks to be bigger and better than ever!

I went to this event two years ago and went in as not really a huge beer guy, but there are over 300 types of beer for you to choose from and you’re guaranteed to find something that you like.

This 19+ event isn’t just about the beer however as it will feature various Canadian musical acts performing over the weekend, including Juno award winning group Sloan!

TORONTO INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DANCE FESTIVAL

this weekend in toronto - YOUTH DANCING

I’ll be honest with you, I’d never heard of this event until doing research for this post and I’m sort of mad with myself that I hadn’t heard of it before!

The Toronto International Youth Dance Festival is a celebration of dance brought to you by youths from all around the world and was created by the Canada International Dance Cultural Association as a way to help promote cultures among youths through various forms of art, including dance.

The opening ceremony for the event takes place on Friday and the competition last two days with the closing ceremony taking place on Sunday.

It is a free event to the public (takes place at Nathan Phillips Square) but funds will be raised through SickKids and proceeds will be given to help support children who endure health challenges.
