One of the biggest awards that will be handed out on music’s biggest night is the award for ‘Song of the Year’.

This year, five massive hits that I’m sure you’ve heard many times before will look to take home the GRAMMY Award.

Nominees this year are: ‘Formation’ from Beyonce, ‘Hello’ from Adele, Mike Posner’s ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’, Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ and ‘7 Years’ from Lukas Graham.

It should be noted that if ‘Love Yourself’ wins this year, Ed Sheeran will become the first artist to win in this category in back to back years; his song ‘Thinking Out Loud’ won last year, and he’s credited as a writer on the Justin Bieber track.

So, who did the KiSS 92.5 team think would win?

DAMNIT MAURIE: Pick – ‘Hello’

“I really think this was Adele’s year and I think she’s going to sweep the entire GRAMMYs.”

JAX: Pick – ‘Formation’

“She had such an incredible year. I mean everything down to the video it was so incredible, the song so catchy. The entire album Lemonade was so strong. Beyonce is just so consistent with her material…”

DEVO BROWN: Pick – ‘Love Yourself’

“I want to see my dude Ed Sheeran go back to back in winning ‘Song of the Year’ twice in a row it’s never been done in the history of the GRAMMYs last year winning for ‘Thinking Out Loud’, him in and the Biebs, why not give Justin Bieber a GRAMMY?”

SHEM: Pick – ‘Hello’

“I think you have to reward that song because that song really propelled that album [25] and gave her the biggest selling album of the year really was off the strength of that one song.”
