It’s been more than 10 years since Missy Elliot last released an album, which means an entire generation has been deprived of her weird and wonderful music videos that accompany her music. Well, that’s about to change, as she just dropped a new single called ‘WTF (Where They From)’ featuring Pharrell, and the music video is incredible!

The song and music video are vintage Missy, but it sounds and looks fresh as ever in 2015!

Missy has yet to announce a title or release date for her next record, but the release of a single probably means a new album is imminent.

In a 2014 Rolling Stone interview, her longtime collaborator Timbland said “”It’s something you ain’t never heard Missy do. It sounds today, but the future.”
