Uber is offering puppies on demand in Toronto TODAY in support of shelter animals.

Uber has teamed with 3MillionDogs to help create awareness for shelter dogs across Canada on National Adopt-A-Shelter-Pet Day.

In a post on its blog, Uber says users of the app in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Edmonton can order a puppy for “15 minutes of puppy cuteness.”

“This Thursday, April 30th is National Adopt-A-Shelter-Pet Day, and so we’ve teamed up with 3MillionDogs to help create awareness for shelter dogs across Canada. And what better way to raise awareness and money for this great cause, than by bringing some of these playful paws straight to you! Get ready to break out all the warm fuzzy feelings and go “awwww” with puppies on-demand in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Edmonton!”

Damnit Maurie managed to get Uber to bring some puppies by the studio before 11am, and Roz & Mocha spoke with Nicole from 3MillionDogs to talk about the partnership with Uber and National Adopt-A-Shelter-Pet Day!

Here’s How to Get Your Paws on a Puppy:

  • Open your Uber app on Thursday, April 30th between 11am & 3pm in Toronto, Ottawa and Edmonton. In Montreal, puppies are playing from 12pm – 3pm.
  • Request the “PUPPIES” option in your app. Please note: Puppies can only be delivered to offices.
  • Once the puppies arrive, you and your colleagues will get to enjoy 15 minutes of puppy cuteness! PRO TIP: Make sure to have an enclosed space ready for puppy play time.
  • Found your Most Valuable Pup? All puppies are eligible for adoption!
