Did Simon Cowell confirm a Kardashian is hosting X Factor?

No … but he hinted at it on Ellen. He did, however, confirm that Khloe Kardashian is in contention for the host spot on X Factor. Cowell teased Ellen DeGeneres:

“We have screen tested a load of people. . .It could be a Kardashian. I think that would work. I’m quite a fan of not putting [experienced] hosts on this show. Because I think it’s going to give it a different dynamic. So we have to find people who have a great chemistry, but Khloe is definitely up there in running.”

Think Khloe would be a good host?

Jason Sudeikis returning to SNL?

Yup.

After a summer where the show lost regulars Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg SNL will be keeping one of its stars for at least a little longer. Sudeikis does a regular impression of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney, so he’s a pretty vital part of the show this election season.

But, that could be it for Sudeikis. SNL head Lorne Michaels says Sudeikis will be around until January but his post election future is undetermined.

Independence Day sequel in the works?

Yup.

Not just one … but TWO!

And, original Independence Day director Roland Emmerich says they already have titles for the sequels: ID Forever Part 1 and ID Forever Part 2. If the sequels actually happen though, it could be a while before we see them. Emmerich says:

“It’s a tough battle between the studio and the actors. But you have a right idea, which was quite unique, and it is therefore worth it to keep trying.”
