TMZ is reporting that Marc Anthony will join the show as a mentor.

He’ll be mentoring Simon Cowell’s picks. As we previously reported, Justin Bieber will be mentoring LA Reid’s picks. Still no announcement who will be mentoring Demi Lovato or Britney Spears’ picks.

Is it true that Avril Lavigne hadn’t met Chad Kroeger’s mother until AFTER the engagement?

Yup.

Chad made the admission to OK! magazine. He said:

“You never know what your parents are going to say when you tell them you’re getting married — especially when it’s with someone they haven’t met yet! My mom is a huge fan of Avril’s, so putting her on the speaker phone and telling her the news was hilarious and equally embarrassing.”

Conor Kennedy and Taylor Swift eloping?

A “source” tells the rag that Caroline Kennedy, Maria Shriver and others:

“fear Taylor may seduce Conor into eloping — because she’s not just a ruthless social climber; she’s a rich superstar and can easily support him even if his family cuts him off from the Kennedy millions. And Conor’s so totally swept away by Taylor, he can’t see straight,”

Did Katy Perry have a pregnancy scare with John Mayer?

Nope … but that hasn’t stopped the Star from reporting it. They say a source told them Katy was spotted last week picking up pregnancy tests. The source said Katy was always careful when they hooked up but she just had a feeling and wanted to be sure. The source goes on to say that:

“Katy was devastated when John broke things off, but after the pregnancy scare, she realized it was best that the relationship ended.”
