Is Nicki Minaj’s Idol deal signed yet?
Nope … but reports of tension between Mariah Carey and Minaj are starting to heat up.
The New York Daily News is even reporting that American Idol executives hope to capitalize off of the so-called beef because the producers “want to see that drama between Nicki and Mariah Carey. It’ll make for good TV.”
Whether the beef is real or made up I imagine that producers will be playing it up so the show has Simon and Paula type tension again.
Did Rihanna get into a barfight this weekend?
That’s what The UK Sun is reporting. The British tabloid says RiRi jumped on a table at a London nightclub — which sent glass flying everywhere — and sent her crashing to the floor. When bouncers tried to get RiRi to leave them club — she screamed:
“Don’t you know who I am?”
Finally, before they got to the exit doors, the bouncers realized their mistake and the club manager ordered free drinks for the table. And a new table, of course.
Is it true?
No. Rihanna even denied it herself on twitter:
“Who the **** jumps on a glass table and live?? C’mon Sun, u goes to do better than that!!! #missingreceipts.”
Is Kim Kardashian ever going to get a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame?
The 31-year-old recently told V Magazine that she wants to “break the mold” that currently prevents reality stars from receiving honors on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said it’s not going to happen.
A rep told the Hollywood Reporter:
“Part of criteria in being honored is receiving awards such as Emmys, SAG Awards, Oscars, etc. in the category of television, live-stage performance or motion pictures. They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.”
As most fans know, Kim’s actual acting credentials are slim, with only guest stints on shows like Drop Dead Diva and a cameo in a Tyler Perry movie on her resume.
As for whether reality stars will ever make the cut? The rep said:
“Not on our radar right now.”
