Oakville has become the first municipality in Ontario to ban teens from using tanning beds.
The decision by Oakville Town Council on Monday will prevent anyone under the age of 18 from using indoor tanning beds…the vote was unanimous.

Would you like to hear the other side in the tanning debate? My name is steve and I have been in the indoor tanning biz for 27 years.I spoke at both oakville town hall meetings and can tell you that this process did not take into consideration any science.No questions of science were brought up.The tanning industry has a VERY VERY strong case.Pam dammoff said the science was strong,it is pathetically weak.
So in fairness to your audience I ask that you give me a chance to tell the other side.
