He’s on the smash hit “Let’s Go” with Calvin Harris, but we’ll have to wait a little longer to get more music from Ne-yo!

He has pushed back the release of his new album to allow him extra time to perfect the project.

R.E.D., which stands for (Realizing Every Dream) was scheduled to be released next month has now been pushed back towards the end of the year. It is the follow up to his 2010 album Libra Scale.

Ne-yo broke the news on Good Morning America, telling the audience,  , “R.E.D. is coming very, very soon… I had to push it back just a lil’ bit. The original release date is no longer the release date…… “I just gotta make sure that it’s right for y’all… Just know you’ll have it before next year, before the top of the year, it will be in stores.”
