So, you’re upset that the elderly disabled lady trying to get out of her car with the help of her even older husband is blocking your lane. Here is where patience is something that you should probably practice. Unless of course you have pepper spray, then it’s ON!!!

On July 29, 2012 at about 4 PM, an elderly disabled couple were visiting the Home Depot in north Spokane.  The husband, 82, was driving and stopped his car in front of the Home Depot to wait for pedestrians and to let his disabled wife, 72, get out of the car.  The suspect, Sherri L. Schlosser, 10/4/1962, was upset they stopped to the side of the driving lane.  As she drove past them in her car, she screamed at them, nearly hit the elderly couple’s open car door, parked, and angrily approached the elderly couple, screaming profanities at them.  She continued to confront them as they walked into the store, before she pulled a can of pepper spray from her purse and sprayed the elderly woman in the face.  Ms Schlosser ran into the Home Depot, through the store, and left out a different set of doors, went to her car and drove out of the parking lot at a high rate of speed while witnesses attempted to stop her.  The victim was treated by fire department personnel before going home.

Officer Stephanie Kennedy investigated the assault and was able to locate Ms. Schlosser at home, where she was arrested.  Ms. Schlosser was booked into jail for 3rd Degree Assault.
