The Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child and 98 Degrees have all been rumoured to be making a comeback, but they aren’t the only ones!
The Backstreet Boys have confirmed that not only will they be reuniting on tour, but they will be recording a new album, this time, with ALL 5 original members!
While they have continued to perform (most recently going on tour with fellow boy band New Kids On The Block ) The full group has not been together since 2006 when bandmate Kevin Richardson left.
“It’s awesome, the vibe is fantastic,” admitted Nick Carter when asked about being back together. “It’s really organic. It’s like never before,” he added.
The group are currently recording in London together with a new album expected to be released in 2013.

As a die hard BSB fan it frustrates me when people don’t get their facts straight. This is not a reunion or a comeback, Kevin left in 2006 but the 4 of them continued on and released two albums and went on two world tours without him. And they just recently did a join tour with new kids on the block. This is the first time since 2005 that all 5 of them are together recording a new album. BSB never left, they have been together for almost 20 years and are going strong. I can’t wait for the new album and tour.
