According to US Weekly, Kanye brought a cell phone so that he can keep in better contact with Kim. For years, the rapper refused to buy a phone and could only be contacted via email.
A source told Us Weekly that the fact that Ye didn’t have a phone “frustrated” Kim — and before he decided to get a phone, she had to contact him “through his bodyguard”. The magazine also reported that Kim is the only person with his cell phone number.
