Kyle Glover, 11-year-old son of Usher’s estranged wife Tameka Foster is in critical condition in an Atlanta hospital after he was struck by someone riding a jet ski.

According to reports, Kyle and a 15-year-old girl were sitting in an inner tube being towed by a speed boat on Lake Lanier in Georgia yesterday when a 38-year-old jet-skier collided into them. Kyle was unresponsive by the time paramedics arrived on the scene and was airlifted to the Children’s Healthcare at Egelston Hospital in Atlanta were he remained in critical condition.

Both Usher and Tameka were out of town at the time, but despite their current divorce issues, Usher chartered a jet for Tameka right away so that she could be by her son’s side. According to officers on the scene, the jet skier was a part of Kyle’s group and did not have any alcohol in his system at the time of the accident.

**UPDATE** According to TMZ, Usher’s stepson Kyle has now been declared brain dead by doctors. No decision has been made yet on whether to take him off life support.
