Chris Brown won the best male R&B artist award on Sunday night, July 1st, at the BET Awards 2012 and during his acceptance speech he got some people worried as he appeared to hint that he wouldn’t be releasing any more music. Details after the jump. The singer said:

“I’d like to thank Team Breezy, everybody who worked on any one of my albums . . . My last album that’s coming out in two days…I just want to thank all my fans . . . It’s dedicated to y’all. This one’s for y’all man, I appreciate everything.”

Reps for Brown clarified after the show that the singer had no plans on retiring anytime soon. Brown’s new album, Fortune, is out today.
