A Florida man faces a child abuse charge after authorities say he tied up a 4-year-old girl so he could play video games.

Sarasota County Police reports that the girl told deputies that she was watching TV last week when 27-year-old Heath Howe tied her up with a rope and left her in the kitchen.

The girl remained tied up until her mother and a friend returned from the gym.  Deputies say the girl had marks on her arms from the rope.  The girl also told deputies Howe had tied her up on previous occasions.  Howe was arrested Wednesday.  He was released Friday on $100,000 bail.
