The Canadian Premiere of the film “The Hunger Games” had fans lined up around the block outside the Scotiabank Theatre in Toronto.
This is the first film in the post-apocalyptic trilogy of books by Suzanne Collins, and we were there to bring you all the interviews!
In the books, The Hunger Games is an annual event where one boy and one girl between the age of 12 to 18 are chosen by a lottery to compete in a televised battle where only one person can survive. We had some fun with Alexander Ludwig asking him to put The Leafs to a Hunger Games battle vs. The Canucks!
Plus, Damnit Maurie goes back in time with Josh Hutcherson, and an accent to get week in the knees over with Liam.

Have you seen the Original hunger games without the fluff and spandex? Battle Royale. Made 12 YRS AGO. 1/16th the budget,explicit,funny and 100x better, Japanese classic. I guess this writer paid for the rights to rip the story.
