Earlier today speculation hit the ceiling that Britney wass engaged to her boyfriend, and former agent, Jason Trawick. It all stemmed from an intriguing and mysterious tweet about what Jason got her for Christmas. See what the singer tweeted after the jump.

She tweeted:

“OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!!”

Well, it turns out he DIDN’T give her a snuggie LOL. He proposed! Trawick confirmed it with Billy Bush of Access Hollywood.

“Yes, we are engaged,” Jason told Billy on Friday.

How did he pop the question? Jason revealed he did it the traditional way. He got down on one knee (in front of Britney two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James) and asked her. She said yes. Awwww

Will Britney make as much on her wedding as Kim did? I doubt it. Britney seems to enjoy her privacy much more than Kim. Expect this one to be a small, intimate affair.
