Justin Bieber’s upcoming 3-D movie is already in jeopardy. Deadline.com reports that Oscar-winning filmmaker Davis Guggenheim has reportedly bailed on the project to focus on another one — his Sundance movie, “Waiting For Superman”. Paramount is in the midst of interviewing directors to take his place.
Bieber will play himself in what is described as a “feature biopic.” Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, and Island Def Jam chairman L.A. Reid are on board to produce the film, due out February 11, 2011.
Bieber is currently on tour and appears to be a bit under the weather. After his show on Wednesday (August 4th) night, he tweeted, “I actually got sick in the middle of the show and they wanted to cancel but the show must go on and the fans gave me my second win.”
