You know how much I love MTV’s “Jersey Shore”, that’s why i’m excited to hear about this! Filming has begun on “K-town”, a Jersey Shore-like reality show featuring Asian Americans. Although the show has yet to be picked up by a network, the production company behind it is tweeting photos of the cast, hoping to garner interest.

Jezebel.com reports that Peter Le is being described as “the Korean Situation.” Sources claim that he’s actually starred in pornographic movies. Judging by pictures, the cast is comprised of eight people — 4 guys and 4 girls — and like their Jersey Shore counterparts, they all really like alcohol.

The show began casting back in April, with a Craigslist posting that read, “Looking for interesting, attractive, colorful Asian-Americans to cast in a reality show similar to ‘Jersey Shore’ . . . We need attractive Asian-Americans with lively, strong and unique personalities between the ages of 18 to 30 with equally interesting life stories and perspectives to share, especially individuals who know about and/or experienced the Koreatown life. If you are not Asian but are obsessed with Asian culture or people in some way, email us and please explain.”
